Swiss Malayalee Association Basel (SMA) is a non-profit cultural organization of people from Kerala, the beautiful southern state of India . Our principal objective is to spread the ethnicity of our culture and sports among the Swiss society through various cultural programs and other friendly social gatherings and also import a good understanding of our heritage, culture and values to the youth in our community.

During these years, our Malayalee community have been successful in developing a strong community, creating a sense of belonging and passing on our strong values to the next generation, while impressing upon them our enviable traditions. They have done all this while achieving the highest possible goals and standards in life.

SMA's future projects includes, promoting Kerala culture and its arts forms in its purest form. We plan to sponsor and support the best cultural shows and events in the community, and will continue to come together as a community to enjoy artistic talents and promote our culture.

We are blessed to have a community that is rich in talents, with a priority for service, and possesses mature leadership. Let us continue to work together to broaden our service with more support, strengthen the name of our community even more with your valuable participation and involvement, and improve our association by healthy advice and feedback.
